The project is implemented with the participation of BPI as coordinator and is 100% financed by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. The project aims to detect the presence of regulated non-quarantine pests (RNQP) of Annexes I and II of Ιmplementing Regulation218/8241/24-1-2017 MD (B'267) as applicable. Laboratory analysis of fruit tree samples sent by the competent services of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food (Regional Departments of Rural Development and Controls, TAAE) are performed according to official protocols or protocols developed and validated by the National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) of the BPI
