Training and mentoring

BPI organizes and participates in conferences, scientific events, theoretical and practical training of scientists and subject-matter professionals in the areas of:

  • Detection and determination of pathogenic or non-pathogenic plant disease cause agents
  • Phytosanitary control and laboratory analyses
  • The techniques of sample-preparation to determine residues of plant protection products, polyaromatic hydrocarbons and other pollutants in food and water
  • The techniques of triple quadrupole mass and time-of-flight spectroscopy
  • The rationalized and safe use of agricultural chemicals, for the protection of human health and that of the environment
  • Quality control and accreditation of laboratories according to the following standards: ISO17020, ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 17011, ISO GUIDE 43-1, ILAG G13, GLP rules. The control and treatment of arthropods of significance to human health.
  • Supervision of doctoral theses and students’ dissertations in collaboration with national and international universities and technological educational institutions
