1st Stakeholder Workshop - LIFE Conops
We kindly invite you to participate in the 1st Stakeholder Workshop on the topic «New mosquito species in Greece: risks and management» which is organized in the framework of the LIFE CONOPS (LIFE12 ENV/GR/000466) project: «Development & demonstration of management plans against -the climate change enhanced-invasive mosquitoes in S. Europe».
The workshop will be held on 12 December 2013, at the National Center for Scientific Research “Demokritos” (N.C.S.R. “Demokritos”) (Agia Paraskevi, Athens).
The main purpose of the workshop is the exchange of knowledge and experiences on issues concerning the mosquitoes, the public health, the risks and the development of management plans.
Invited Lectures by the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, Directorate of Plant Produce Protection, the Hellenic Centre for Disease Control & Prevention (HCDCP) and the Public Health Department of Emilia-Romagna Region (PH-ER) (Italy) will contribute with their experience to the purpose of the workshop.
