Toxicological testing of samples

Laboratory testing to detect and study:

  • Acute or high toxicity
  • Genotoxicity (impact on genetic material)
  • High toxicity detection using aquatic organisms of sea and fresh water (crustaceans such as Daphnia magna and Artemia fransiscana, microalgae such as Nannochloropsis occulata and Selenastrum capricornutum, fry such as Gambusia affinis, etc.)
  • High toxicity detection using soil organisms (earthworms such as Eiseniafoetida)

The above can be undertaken with the following types of samples:

  • Environmental samples (soil, water)
  • Waste (urban, industrial, etc.)
